Voice of Croton Announces Trio of Candidates Listed on This Year’s General Election Ballot
(Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., June 2, 2025) — Voice of Croton, a grassroots community group founded in late 2024 to advocate for and serve Village residents, families, small business owners and community groups, announced today that a trio of qualified candidates with no conflicts will be listed on this year’s General Election ballot.
Building off of last year’s write-in initiative, Croton voters this time around can fill in the corresponding circles on their November ballots to select Gary Eisinger for Village Mayor; Stacey Nachtaler for Village Trustee; and Nigel Ravelo for Village Trustee. With three open seats, voters now have a rare opportunity to directly shape the future of our community.
Gary, Stacey, and Nigel offer profound leadership experience in public policy; business; government relations; large-scale public and private budgeting; employee management; philanthropy; community service; and environmental stewardship. They maintain zero conflicts of interest, have no aspirations for personal political gain, and are not party to any special political interests or influences.
Gary, Stacey and Nigel issued the following joint statement in formally announcing this year’s campaign:
“We are honored and energized by the encouragement of so many friends and neighbors from all corners of Croton, and we will never take you for granted. Your ideas, goals, priorities, and concerns remain at the heart of our shared platform and would play a central role in our administration.
“Being on November’s ballot creates easier access for voters of all ages across Croton to support our grassroots mission, principles, and initiatives.
“At our core, we are running to establish a hyper-local, transparent, accountable, and responsive democracy that has been sorely missing in our Village over the past several years. In too many important instances, too many citizens have been overlooked or ignored by the same few people who have been in power too long, catering instead to external, special political interests.
“While they opt to prioritize high-density overdevelopment practices and policies that are unfit for a Village and impose serious fiscal challenges and liabilities, we’re here to work strictly for you and address a range of local community priorities and needs that they would continue to push further out of reach.
“We look forward to continuing to meet and learn more from people every day. We appreciate your input, expertise, partnership and trust as we aim to serve as your voice in Village Hall.”

Voice of Croton Promotes Jewish and Village Safety, Amid Attacks Across the Country and Rise in NY Antisemitism
Candidates Urge Antisemitism to be Addressed During Tomorrow's Town Hall
(Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., June 2, 2025) — Croton mayoral candidate Gary Eisinger, and Trustee candidates Stacey Nachtaler and Nigel Ravelo issued the following statement about Jewish resident and Village public safety, amid recent attacks on Jewish people in Colorado, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
“The recent violent attacks on Jewish people in Boulder, D.C. and Pennsylvania and sharp rise in antisemitic rhetoric and incidents in New York are heartbreaking and unacceptable. Hate of any group has no place here. We are fortunate and grateful for the service and dedication of the Croton PD, who work hard every day to keep us all safe, especially in high alert times. Gary has reached out to the Croton Police Chief to promote and advocate for increased public safety protections and protocol for Jewish residents and the Village community. He has also asked for this topic to be addressed during tomorrow’s Community Town Hall. As a community, let’s reject hate and stand together.”
